Our Values

Our counsellors have completed their Masters in Psychology (Counselling), and are eligible to provide counselling services. They have been trained for two years in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by the APA and the ACA in the areas of Individual, Family and Group Therapy. They continue to follow these guidelines in their current practice and give utmost importance to the confidentiality of clients. All client records at The Burrow are protected and anonymity of the client is maintained in supervision as well.

Our therapists ensure that they are updated in their field by continuing their education in specialised practices according to their field of interest. They also go for personal therapy and receive supervision from certified supervisors as well as peers, to ensure the delivery of a healthy practice.

All our therapists have been trained according to the APA guidelines, and ensure that it reflects in their practice. In addition to adhering to the ethical code of conduct, we also aspire to uphold the General Principles, as detailed by the APA to aim towards the highest possible reflection of these values in our practice:
•    Beneficence and Non-maleficence
•    Fidelity and Responsibility
•    Integrity
•    Justice
•    Respect for People’s Rights and Dignity
